Nutritious Vegetable rice


Toddler food can be made nutritious easily.Sometimes its not tough making them eat what they usually dont.Just infuse green veggies or brocolli with some of his favourites in small quantities. Here i have added beautiful baby spinach.You can use broccolli florets too....


Ingredients:
jeera:1tspn
onion:1/8 cup
tomato:2 medium
gg paste:1tspn
spinach:fresh leaves about palmful
carrot:1 whole medium sized
beans:1/8 cup
rice:4tbspn
moongdal:2tbsp
Method:-
In a cooker,heat oil.Add jeera and let it splutter.Saute some onions.Add ginger-garlic paste and saute till it gives away nice aroma.To this add tomato and let these become mushy.Add fresh spinach leaf and let it simmer for 2 minutes.Then add all veggies.Saute for 2 minutes and then add rice and moong dal.Add water and pressure cook it.Nutritious rice ready!
